Home » Baseball News Rocky Mount will play 3-A title series at Five County Stadium July 28, 2008 By iHigh Staff of Rocky Mount High School CHAPEL HILL - The schedules have been set for the 92nd annual edition of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association's state baseball championship series. Two of the series, including the 3-A and 4-A championships, will be played at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, the home of the Carolina Mudcats. The 1-A and 2-A championships are scheduled for the University of North Caroilna at Greensboro. Two series of games had traditionally been played at N.C. State University for the last several years, but it will be hosting an NCAA baseball regional this year. All of the series are best of three games. Each of the qualifiers survived best-of-three series at the regional level to advance to the state championship series.
